Fiona has traveled a long road since primary school in Dunedin. She studied for her dental degree at Bristol University with graduation in 1991. As a dentist Fiona worked in hospitals in UK and then general practice in Wanganui. She also lectured and worked at the University of Otago. Fiona gained her Fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons in 1996 and then went on to complete her three year Masters Degree in Orthodontics, with an academic scholarship at the University of Otago. After 12 years of study, she became a Specialist Orthodontist in 1999. Fiona has practiced exclusively as an orthodontist in Auckland and Oxford, England both in the hospital and private practice. It was 2004 when Fiona set up practice in New Lynn amd she has since cared for over 6000 local patients in her time in New Lynn
In her need to continue growing professionally Fiona has become an Invisalign doctor and has embraced the digital age with becoming a Suresmile® doctor in 2013. She actively participates in continuing professional development and runs the North Shore and West Auckland Orthodontist Peer group. This allows her to stay current on the latest technology and treatments.
She is a member of New Zealand Association of Orthodontists (NZAO), World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO), New Zealand Dental Association ( NZDA) and Auckland Dental Association (ADA).
She feels lucky to be part of such a wonderful community and believes strongly in giving back to those who have given so much over the years.
Fiona is the mother of two, a daughter Isobel and son Rory and is married to Arend. She loves the outdoors especially tramping and multi-sport. Reading, the arts, gardening and caring for the hens are other spare time activities.

Donna has been in dentistry and specialist orthodontic private practice for 20 years. She completed her undergraduate dental training at the University of Otago in 1996. Donna spent 6 years in private practice and hospital practice as a general dentist, working in Auckland, London and Melbourne. She completed her postgraduate specialist training at the University of Melbourne in 2005 with a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics. Donna spent more than 3 years working in London and Surrey, in private specialist practice before returning to Auckland.
She has been in partnership with Fiona since 2010 and together they have embraced huge changes in their practice, since moving from the “little brown cottage” in Rata Street, to their current location in the Totara Health Building. Donna has treated over 2000 local patients since being in New Lynn.
Donna’s passions outside of orthodontics include cooking, running, travelling with her husband Peter and taking care of her two young girls . She is an Invisalign provider and along with Fiona, are among the first specialist orthodontists providing Suresmile technology in New Zealand.
She is a member of the New Zealand Association of Orthodontists, Australian Society of Orthodontists, Royal College of Surgeons ( Edinburgh) in Orthodontics, New Zealand Dental Association and Auckland Dental Association. Donna speaks Cantonese and is also proud to be a participating orthodontist for the Wish for a Smile Trust , the charitable arm of the New Zealand Association of Orthodontists.
